Captain Arthur Donnelly
Brother Donnelly served Woodbridge as a Police Officer for 37 years, as a Captain for 25 of those years, retiring in 1989. He was a US Navy veteran of WW II and a graduate of Rutgers University. He was a Life Member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police (I.A.C.P.), of the Tri-State Identification Association ( and past President, ) as well as N.J.P.B.A. Local 38, and the Woodbridge Police Rifle and Pistol Club, and during his career a member of the Woodbridge Police Pistol team.
Outside of law enforcement he was a member of the Masonic Temple in Woodbridge, a member of the American Legion Post 471 in Iselin, Past Commander of Iselin V.F.W. Post 2636, and a former Fire Commissioner of Iselin Fire District No. 11.
